While we do try to keep most of the app functionality free, we do have to do paid option to help finance maintenance and future feature development. Yes, with Visited Pro you can track places, cities and regions that you have been to or wish to add to your travel bucket list. The app also goes beyond the travel map by adding seeing your travels on a list as well as getting a personalized travel dashboard. Which includes things like total number of cities visited, most frequently visited country, country where you spent the longest amount of time and percentage of a country you have been to based on regions visited.

Visited takes privacy and security seriously. As a travel tracker app, we do not track your location or scan your photo’s meta description. We protect your data by asking you to sign up with an email and password, to ensure only you can access your data. You have the right to unsubscribe from us at any point, and delete any data that you have inputted. All inputs that you make such as adding countries visited to your travel map, is stored securely under your account.

You can use your data on multiple devices as long as you login with the same email and password.

Currently we cannot track by each trip, but it is based on the country you have Visited. However, we are working on trip itinerary, trip tracking, trip journaling functionality in future releases. If you purchase premium you will automatically get this trip planning/trip journaling feature in the future.

Currently, there is no option to create a step-to-step plan for your trip. We do have date and hotel option as well as notes. What the travel itinerary will do is it will display all cities, experiences, and places of interest that you have selected that you wish to explore, on a country level. What it will also do is it will rank countries based on the number of places and things that you wish to do/see at those countries. The other feature of the app that can help with your travel planning, is the friend feature. Where you can see the countries that you both want to travel to, making planning your next adventure easier.

No, by choice, we do not access your phone’s GPS capabilities or your photo meta description, as we value your privacy. However, the map will automatically build based on what you select on a list. It is simple to just tap on want or been and select cities that you have been to. For travel lists, you will also see pictures of places, to provide you with a visual guide as you scroll through thousands of places of interest.  

The following countries have regional breakdowns: United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia are included for free. The following regions are included with Visited Premium: New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Columbia, Spain, France, Portugal, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Finland, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Romania and Ukraine.

Currently, the app does not suggest places to visit based on travel history, but we are working on this feature for a future release. What we do have is the ability to go through lists of travel categories and select places that you wish to see. These places will show up on your travel itinerary, by country. So you can see in which country you have the most places of interests or experiences that you want to have.
